Depart Fes in the morning, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, nicknamed “Little Switzerland,” then continue to the Cedar Forest of Azrou to spot Barbary macaques. Travel through scenic landscapes and Berber villages, with lunch in Midelt. Arrive in Merzouga for dinner, live Saharan music, and overnight at a kasbah.
