Departure from Marrakech at 8:00 AM, heading into the High Atlas Mountains. Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) with sweeping views of Berber villages and valleys. Visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site featured in Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, home to Atlas Film Studios, before passing through Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses. End the day in the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay in a charming hotel.
Travel through the spectacular Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs create breathtaking scenery. Continue toward Erfoud, known for its fossils, then head to Merzouga.
